Meeting on the Mountain

The days of the "kings" in the ministry are over. Today the Father is calling His fathers to arise in faith and boldness.

I am calling you to be servants by dressing and equipping these believers for the harvest. Stop dressing and equipping yourselves. Stop making a name for yourself. Serve My body with humility and love, and release them in My power and love, and you will be truly great.

During the past six months the Lord has spoken time and again regarding His desire to raise up fathers in the faith. This can surely be interpreted as the restoration of the apostolic authority in the church, but as we have continued to seek the face of the Lord, I believe there is a definite parallel between the generation-Xs and Gods desire to reach them through a fathers love.
This generation is tomorrows leaders and without the security of the Fathers love the winds of the times will direct their paths towards destruction. There are 2 great promises and warnings in Joel and Malachi regarding the generations of the last days.

Joel 2:28,29,31 And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.

Mal 4:5-6 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.

Today the Lord is calling the fathers forth. Unless they come forward to father this lost and seeking generation I believe the earth will be cursed. Therefore in every city and nation where men and women would arise and turn their hearts to the coming generation, that city or nation would be blessed. Yet, if the fathers do not come forward, turn their hearts towards this lost generation and give them the Fathers love, that city or nation will be cursed by lawlessness, fear and insecurity.

I believe that once these fathers have brought security to the body of Christ through their love and steadfastness, the Lord is going to begin to release Joel's army. Much have be spoken regrading the ministry of the believer and the Lord's desire to use all His children is the last days. Yet, unless we have leaders who father and release the next generation this will never happen.

Here follow two words received during this year regarding these subjects. Please pray with us regarding the coming forth of these true fathers (even in our own city and nation). The days of the "kings" in the ministry are over. Today the Father is calling His fathers to arise in faith and boldness.

Any comments on this subject is most welcome (hopefully also from some fathers?!).

Blessings,
Johan Boot

Where are the fathers?
1 Cor 4:15 For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers (NKJ)

Today I am preparing an army to gather in the end-time harvest. This army as prophesied in Joel will be made up of young and old, rich and poor, insignificant and important. I will use all my people in the last days. There is coming a great wind of liberty over my church. I am preparing My bride to stand in her full glory and power, but this will only come as My Spirit will be poured out upon all flesh. I am going to break the spirits of control and fear over My bride and I will shake all standards of false authority in the church. But before the great release of this army of believers, who will march in the power of My Spirit, I need to release the fathers who will lead them in love and humility.

Today I am calling many to step into fatherhood. Today I am speaking to many to change their perspective on the ministry. Today I am even shaking the models and moulds of many of my most trusted servants, because I desire for them to begin to father this coming army. The world calls them the lost generation, yet I see them as the generation seeking for the only True One. But where are the fathers who will guide them, give them the confidence to believe in Me, mold their characters, give them hope and show them My true love?

Today many desire the titles and authority of an apostle or father in the faith, but they do not have the heart to father. Have you exchanged your heart for My heart? Have emptied yourself of your own selfish ambition? As long as you still want to be ahead of others, you will not allow others to lead the way. As long as you still need the satisfaction of winning your own war, you will not empower your sons. Today I am looking for fathers who will make it their mission to see the next generation succeed, instead of battling for their own significance. Your reward is with me, and your significance shall be magnified by the exploits of you sons.

Today unless you will humble yourself and see that it is by my grace alone that you are what you are, you will not step into this great calling. For the fathers that I am raising up will be men serving their sons with grace and wisdom in all humility and love. Trust Me, for this kingdom is mine, and I will pour out My grace upon those who will step up in obedience to My call.

The Release of the Believer
The Lord led me to the top of a hill. As we reached the top of the hill, we overlooked a beautiful valley. In the distant was a beautiful city being built. You could see it from a far distant as its towers and buildings were magnificent symbols of mens handiwork. One specific building stood out from the rest. It was still under construction but was much higher than any of the other buildings.

"The tower that you see there is the tower of Babel. Men are building a kingdom that will include everyone and everything. They want to centralize everything for as they will stand together they will be much, much stronger. This is the power of unity. Yet there is also great danger in this the deception of centralized power. Much of My church today is represented by centralized organizations, controlled by the ideas of men instead of Me. Through the centralization of power they are able to exercise control over men, manipulating and steering them according to their own agendas."

The church that I am preparing for My end-time move will be under the control of the Holy Spirit not man. Have I not given My Spirit to all believers equally? Have I not made My home within every believer? Have I not called all of them to share and demonstrate My love to a broken world. Why have you boxed My believers into tiny religious compartments, where they are reduced to listeners and followers of your programs?

I am going to bring a new wind over the church across the whole earth. This wind will blow through every church and denomination. The wind will be called: "The release of the believer." I will call the leadership of every denomination and church to stand at the door of the church and when this wind comes, they will either have the choice to allow My Spirit to release My people or keep them boxed into their own religious paradigms. Great fear will grip those leaders who have built their churches by "using" the believers. They will stand and resist this wind with all their might as they will feel the loss of significance and control. They will persecute and speak against this move of My Spirit like nothing you have every seen. Yet now is the time that I will remove the spirit of control from My body. I will set her free from the men that have been misusing My Name in order to establish themselves.

The end-time harvest will be harvested by all believers. I will use from the least to the greatest and My power shall be released upon all of them. Yes, your sons and daughters shall be used. Your old men shall be some of the greatest warriors. I am raising up an army of nameless and faceless believers who will be used by My awesome power. My Spirit will be poured out upon all flesh and the world will see Me.

Today I am calling My leaders to humble themselves and pray. I have called you to equip the saints for this task. I ask of you to raise up these soldiers and to release them into the work of the ministry. Tell them to "Go and make disciples" instead of "Come and join me". I am calling you to be servants by dressing and equipping these believers for the harvest. Stop dressing and equipping yourselves. Stop making a name for yourself. Serve My body with humility and love, and release them in My power and love, and you will be truly great.

I think that the Definition of a Father is someone who desires More for their Children than even what they have.

There are so many people out there trying desperately to hold people back, yet if they were Fathers they would be Overjoyed by seeing people move ahead in a relationship with God, Relationships with their families, with others and just moving ahead and being blessed in many different aspects of their life.

Our Example of a True Father is God and He wants the Best for us, probably more than for Himself. So much so that God died for us so that we could have the best and that is Eternal life with Him.

God Bless You,

David

Good post. You know, I have seen something
within the church that I don't like. It is
frightening. There are (some) pastors who
simply do not want the children to grow up
and do the work of Christ. Now, these
pastors do want their members to live
obedient lives to a degree, but there is
something within the churches that has
been holding back Christians from working
within the church as they should be. I
have seen a sort of insecurity in some
pastors, where he wants to be sure no one
takes his place or is equal to him. He is
afraid, and so he holds back those from
working withint the church until they
either leave church altogether or look
for a church where they can work in.
When is this silliness going to stop?
You are right, a good father would want
his sons to grow up, assume an adult
position in life, and do the work he
was called to do. Other people have also
noticed this tendency. There is only 1
king in some of the churches and this is
sad. Jesus should be the 1 king and all
others His followers.

Hi,

Excellent Post!

I sometimes felt that there were some man made restrictions put on the body of the Church to hold them back. I couldnt really put a finger on it until I started entering the Ministry myself then I realized that many, people/pastors do not trust God enough to let Him be the head of His Church and many people are trying to be the head (king) of a group or the Church for God.

This is a really an area that annoys me. So many excellent men and women are getting discouraged in various ministry and helps areas because other people can be so discouraging, instead of being the adult encourager.

Somehow I ended up on that guys e-mail newsletter and when I read his article I was just too happy to post it because I think he really went a long way in defining and explaining the problem.

God Bless You!

Have a Jesus :o) Day!

David

At this time the Lord is speaking regarding a radical change in church leadership and structure. Throughout the earth there is a new apostolic restoration. This will bring much needed change regarding leadership, structure, the release of the saints into the harvest and unity.
In the first word (The three kings), I believe the Lord is calling us to prepare for a major restructuring to His body in the next 10 to 20 years. Since 9-11, much has changed in the world, and we can be certain that it will never be the same. The Lord is calling us to prepare for major changes and challenges in the years ahead.

In the second word (In one accord), I believe the Lord is calling leadership to true unity and humility. Without 'one accord', we will never experience the corporate anointing of restoration and revolution which the early church knew.

Blessings

The Three Kings
The Lord showed me 3 kings, each with a large castle. These castles did not only have room for the kings immediate family, but also for all his servants and their families. Then I heard a trumpet call. This trumpet call was a warning regarding a coming earthquake. The warning went throughout the land to prepare the people for total devastation.

All three kings heard the trumpet call, yet they responded in different ways. At first each king was filled with fear and started making emergency plans. Yet the earthquake did not come immediately. People were relieved and after a week or two everything seemed to be back to normal. But again the trumpet sounded and again the people trembled and the kings prepared for it. But again it did not come.

This pattern of warning continued for a while. Then the first king decided to lead his people out of the old, large stone castle, to build a new town of wood, which would be safer than the old castle. It would be much easier to evacuate the people, and the possibility of serious injuries would be minimized. This obviously had a great impact on the king and his people. The king no longer had the tight control over his people, and the people obviously had must more freedom. The people built their own houses and planted their own vineyards and trees. But because the king loved his people he rejoiced in their joy and consequently his kingdom flourished.

The second king decided to remain in the castle, but to have an excellent emergency plan. His people regularly practiced this plan. Because the king loved the life in the castle too much, he decided to remain resident in it, and that when the earthquake came they would all escape.

The third king ignored the warning of the coming earthquake. He said in his heart, "For all the generations that we have been here in this castle, we have never experienced any earthquakes. This is all wishful thinking." He did not warn his people, neither did he make preparations. For a while this kingdom enjoyed the peace and prosperity it has always been known for. Its king and his people, laughed at the second kingdom as its people practiced the evacuation plan. They openly ridiculed the first kingdom as crazy and radicals. Yet, the first king knew that he was preparing his people out of love, and that the second and third kings were really holding on to their own positions, prestige and comfort.

Then one day the Lord started to shake the earth. The land where the three kings lived was also affected. It was a terrible earthquake, and many old buildings completely collapsed. When the earthquake struck the first kingdom, the people were completely prepared. Although the castle collapsed, the newer and smaller houses all remained. Soon afterwards the people resumed with their lives, because they had no connection with the old castle any longer.

When the earthquake reached the second kingdom, the people were prepared to quickly evacuate the castle. A couple of people were seriously injured, but all were saved. Yet, when it was all over, nothing remained standing. The king and his people were completely devastated.

Yet, when the earthquake reached the third kingdom, the king and his people were having a large banquet. Everyone in the kingdom was involved in it and they fully enjoyed the blessing of their prosperity. As the earthquake struck, the banquet hall was the first to collapse. The roof came down on the people and everyone, except a number of the servants died.

The news of the devastation of the earthquake went throughout the land. The first king and his people heard about what happed to the other kingdoms, and rushed to help and support the injured and homeless. They brought all the people from the second kingdom and those spared from the third, back to the first kingdom. From that time onwards everyone remained at the first kingdom, and the second king became a general of first king.

Therefore the structure and lifestyle in these 3 kingdoms were forever changed.

The essence of this prophetic vision relates to the releasing of the saints into the harvest and ministry. The Lord is beginning to restructure the church to get the people from the pews to the lost. For too long the church has been a self-contained castle. For too long have we been inward looking and enjoying the blessings of the ministry, while the lost is dying. The Lord is bringing a radical change to the way we are doing church to prepare the saints to gather the harvest. Today there are those who will embrace the apostolic anointing to release, send and plant, while others will openly ridicule it.

Today is the day to hear the voice of the Spirit, and embrace the shaking in the church. Please note that the Lord will shake His church. He is determined to pour new wine and new oil upon His church. Yet, the question is, "Are we willing to abandon old, large outdated structures, for the sake of the kingdom? Are we willing to embrace a new wineskin, even if it means less prominence and prestige? Are we willing to step out in faith and build according an apostolic and prophetic pattern?" These are days of taking possession of the land. Will we be like the minority who believed that God was great enough to conquer the giants in the land, or will we shrink back, because of our love of the old ways?

I also believe that the Lord is preparing His church for the persecution of the last days. When the church is really persecuted (for example China), the old style of institutionalized church will simply not work. I believe the shaking of the land also refers to persecution, and the consequential demise of our kingdoms. Without a strategic plan to train, release and send the saints to plant and harvest, we church will be no possible position to overcome the future persecution to come upon the church. I want to emphasize that we are by no means to fear persecution or become paranoid about it, but to simply prepare for it. We need to be really to move when the Master calls us to change gears, and face the challenges of the new millenium.

Today is the day to hear and obey the voice of the Spirit.

In one accord
The Lord showed me a city in ruins. Its outer walls were incomplete and none of the houses seemed to be fully complete. Some were actually simply 4 walls with no roof, windows or doors. I saw people in these buildings and realized that the Lord was showing me a picture of His corporate church in a city. At the door of most buildings there was a leader or pastor. They were clothed in special clothes and upon each building was a nice sign for the fellowship or church. People were working on their own buildings and trying to accomplish the Great commission on their own. Yet, it struck me that none of them were really ever completing their buildings. There always seemed to be some areas of lack or failure, and therefore these buildings looked rundown and dysfunctional. The layout of the city also seemed to be non-existent. Buildings were built anywhere, and some didnt have any access to roads and other services such as water and electricity.

Then there was a trumpet call in the heavens. It was a call to the church to prepare for the end-time harvest. I saw how the leaders of the churches assembled in the center of the city. They all came together to hear what the trumpet call meant. The members from the different congregations also came. The Lord was calling those in leadership to lay down their lives, so that He could do a new and complete work in the church.

"Unless the shepherds come together to work as a body in the restoration of My house, this city will never see Me fullness come upon it. I am calling those whom I gifted and called to start building My kingdom, instead of their own ministries. Because of selfish ambition, pride and strife, My corporate anointing and call upon cities and nations cannot be released."

Then I saw how the Lord led each of the pastors to submit their lives before Him. Each one had to lay down their beautiful robes, jewels and crowns, as these were signs of their authority and gifting. "I am calling My servants to submit and surrender the gifts and callings that I gave them. There is coming a double portion anointing upon the church in the last days. It will be the corporate anointing of the fivefold ministry. I will cloth them with even more splendor and power than before, yet it shall not be tainted by the markings of this world."

As each leader laid down their crowns and robes, he suddenly became a step in a staircase leading into the sky. As the last leader submitted himself to the Lord, the final step in the staircase was formed, and a door appeared above it. On the door was an inscription: "In One Accord". Then there was another trumpet call, and the door above the staircase was opened. As it opened the wind of the Spirit of God started to blow into the city. As the Spirit of the Lord blew through the city the eyes of the people were opened and they could see the real state of their city. Many started to cry and weep, and everyone called out to the Lord to heal their city by His power and presence. The wind continued to blow until the time of cleansing in the hearts of the people was reached. Everyone received a new and deeper understanding of the purposes of the kingdom of God.

Then the staircase with the door above it disappeared. The pastors were back in the square in the center of the city. Yet, they looked different. Each one of them was clothed in blue workmans clothes. Instead of jewels and specials robes each one carried a toolbox with specialized tools. They then started to restore the city. But it was clear that they were working as a team under divine guidance and authority. None of them continued to work on just their own building. It was clear that although many were assigned to certain areas of building work, their function and particular skill was more important than the location where they worked. Each one seemed to be content to see the city restored and completed according to a divine plan and design. There were architects, town planners, engineers, inspectors and building supervisors. As a result of the combined and united effort by all the workers, the city was quickly changing. Because there was an overall design, critical services such as roads and drainage, and the city walls with its watchtowers received special attention. In a short space of time everyone in the city started to rejoice. They became extremely happy to see a full spectrum of services available to them. People recognized that the Lord came to restore His church and likewise build His kingdom.

A generation chosen for His presence

1 Cor 1:27-29 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. (NKJ)

Are we wise and mighty? Or are we foolish, weak and despised? Today the church has raised a generation of believers that are unable to stand in the presence of the Lord. Although they will seek Him, He will not come, for He resists the proud. He does not choose them; neither does He dwell with them including Christians.

Today, many call out to the Lord in search of solutions. Yet, they do not really seek the Way, the Truth and the Life. They do not seek the Lord in person; instead they are looking for someone to solve lifes problems. They seek signs and wonders, breakthroughs, and the the next 7 steps to whatever their itching ears want to hear.

Today much of the Christian world is on a diet of junk food. Christians travel from one fast food store to the next always eating, but never satisfied. They have become lukewarm and fat on their own self-centered and self-gratifying messages. For many the gospel has become consumer driven always adapting; yet never delivery people from sin.

To many, Christ has been represented as Mr. Fix-it. This is simply not the truth. Most of our issues, He does not want to fix. Instead He wants it to die! Christ came to be your life not fix your life! Our problems are to be surrendered to the Lord, allowing Him to take full possession of our life and destiny.

The message of the cross "the true gospel" is foolishness. This message of death to self, the world and all its desires and ways, is foolishness. This message that Christ has come to live His life in and through us, by taking full possession of us, is simply foolishness to the wise and the mighty. Today, many new converts simply add Christ to their lives. Yet, their collection of other gods simply remain intact, and are even rearranged by skillful teachers to take on a form of godliness.

Today, the spirit of this world has a great hold on all denominations and flows. Yet the Lord has started to blow a wind of change over His church. This wind of holiness unto the Lord will blow through every church and denomination. He will shake every thing and those who will surrender their whole life before the Lord will be allowed to press into His presence. In His presence the Lord will truly make Himself the Lord and King in the lives of those believers, and then a true expression of His kingdom and reign on earth will come.

This wind of holiness will cost every true believer. I believe that many will not surrender to this wind, but will hardened their hearts through sin and rebellion. They will love their ways more than the ways to the Lord. The idols in their hearts will deceive them and lead them on the path of destruction.

Matt 24:11-13 "Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved." (NKJ)
